What made me join this course is that I noticed I have been not only gaining weight but eating portions that men don’t eat. The most useful part of the course for me was the part about desire, which started to explain why I was eating the way I am.

I have always had trouble with my weight, emotional eating was always an issue that I am aware of. I came across the workshop by chance through a friend and thought I would try it out, glad I did. A few of things stuck, the grounding exercise in front of the fridge, tapping to calm down (specifically when the urge to eat while not hungry kicks in, usually late at night), the idea that no food is off limits (this created a shift in my brain I no longer resist temptation, using this with tapping helps me understand when I actually want to eat and when I am eating to hide my emotions). This was without doubt successful.

I joined the workshop because I was overeating, eating when unnecessary, and feeling that I lacked the “will power” to diet and exercise even though they worked when I stuck to them. My favorite tools from the workshop was the way we learned to cancel beliefs and instill others, pushing as an alternative to hitting, pausing before eating… and Tapping on the things I don’t like in my body REALLY changed the image I see in the mirror! I feel better about myself, I see myself as a much better person. There has been a lot of new material, thoughts and exercises and I still need to wrap my head around the material but the ones I used till now are very effective. Your responses to my questions helped tremendously and made the material more personal, it helped me on more levels than I could imagine.

I joined the course because I have been gaining weight even though I do sports and I hate dieting. The parts of the course that I found the most useful and interesting were understanding desire vs needs, tapping on being stuck (tapping for desired weight) which revealed a lot of hidden reasons as to why I haven’t been losing the weight, in addition to changing the thoughts and emotions audio. I feel I am listening to my body and its needs a lot more, and feeling and responding to desire in a different way.

I found the course when I have gained 5 kg and was feeling guilty, I liked the part about belief changing and thought the course was very successful at helping me understand the real reasons behind the guilt and how it contributed to my weight gain and food habits.

"I joined the workshop Emotional Eating , in a phase of my life that I couldn’t understand why I was eating without any limit. I used to think that my overweight was just result of my lack of discipline. I couldn't see clear that my emotions were guiding me for an extraordinary amount of food !!!! During the course , with all practices we did , specially the EFT , I saw clear how each emotion was being the trigger point for my cravings. Later on , in private sessions , We had an interesting journey !!! Going deeper and deeper , we brought to the surface my real problem : self-esteem !! I used to find in food , what I couldn't find in myself : confort and love !!! Since I started with Ruba , I lost around 16 kg , doing no efforts , I just recognized my feelings , so the food was not playing the same role anymore."

Ruba changed my approach to life, helped me deal with my emotions, and opened my eyes to new horizons! A good friend of mine told me about Ruba when I was depressed, unhappy about many aspects of my life, and suffering from IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). She said try a session with her, you won’t regret it. She was right, my first session was a turning point in my life and I just knew I need to continue with her with full dedication. I’m so grateful to say that with Ruba’s help and guidance, I was able to achieve so many things, most important of which are:
1. Heal my IBS condition after suffering for so long
2. Stop binging and emotional eating and get a more stable weight
3. Deal with over training
4. Heal previous relationships and open myself to new ones
5. Deal with pre-competition and post-competition stress and weight loss

The journey is still on going. Thank you Ruba 🙂

Ruba, I can hardly describe or thank you enough for the growing process I’ve been through with you throughout the past year. It was an amazing healing & soul adjusting experience! You introduced me to a whole new world of care & sharing. Which helped me heal what my ex psychiatrist called Social Phobia! This helped me believe in myself like never before, even when things are a total mess & I know now it gets better.. I learned to accept my mistakes & not ignore them or hide from them… I now believe in my ability to achieve things I always wanted to do, but thought I’m not good enough, or I don’t have the time, or I don’t have the money! Right now I know anything is possible if I just intend to do it & work for it & that’s one of my favorites “INTENTION”! I realize how important it is to have our intention set on whatever we want, intentions are magical 🙂 I understand the difference between being a grown up & actually acting like a grown up… I have the tools I need to continue my growing journey, like EFT & journaling… I may look the same to people around me, but inside i’m a much better version of myself & i cant wait for the next version 🙂 I have a new perspective of life & humans…
